One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple. (Psalm 27:4)
Gorgeous spring blooms, Linda... Love the crab apple blooms.
Check the Blue Ridge Parkway for road closures on the parkway before your trip. We ran into closures twice this week. One was near Maggie Valley and one was closer to Asheville. We were disappointed...
So pretty. I remember my late mother in law telling me that she had fresh lilac blossoms on the tables at her wedding so I've always counted on that date - May 21 - to see my lilacs in full bloom. They might just be early, this year. Your photos are sigh-evoking.
Hilary - I think everything's a little early this year. It sure is a treat to see all the trees and shrubs bursting into bloom. So much color it almost hurts the eyes. :)
There really isn't much more beautiful than fragrant Spring blossoms.
ReplyDeleteoh, lucky you on both counts!

Happy Easter.

Thanks, Betsy. Those crab apple blossoms almost look like a bridal bouquet, don't they?
