One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple. (Psalm 27:4)
We attended the latest piano recital of our 10-year-old great-nephew, Carson, a week or so ago. Here is just a short clip from his performance. (Sorry about all the sneezing you'll hear. Someone must have had allergies.)
Hi Linda, Good Gosh---seems like the person sneezing would have left the room! Geessshhh.
Carson did a great job. But--I do have a question. Since I'm an old piano player, why do they not use the pedal??? Maybe you don't know the answer to that --or maybe that is just something new these days...
Tex - Thanks. Like his brothers, he's growing up too fast!
Betsy - I wondered about the pedal thing myself. At first, I thought it was because the kids' legs just weren't long enough to reach the pedals. But Carson's are long enough now. If I find out, I'll let you know. :)
Hilary - I think Carson does have natural talent for the piano, but he's gotten so busy with so many other interests that I'm afraid his piano is suffering. Still, what I'd give to be able to play like he does. Yes, the sneezes do sound a bit like whip cracks. Maybe it was his teacher. :)
oh, he's so cute! and he deserves extra applause for holding his concentration thru all those sneezes!!! made me laugh!

Very nice. You have a talented boy there. The sneezes sounded a bit like someone cracking a whip.
