One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple. (Psalm 27:4)
On our way home from that October 12, visit to Ouabache State Park, we had the privilege of seeing this beautiful sunset.
A rainbow seems to be dropping from the clouds, almost like the finger of a tornado.
The brilliantly colored sky was growing dark by the time we reached this church, but I still liked the silhouette against the last remnants of the sunset.
Beautiful sunset, Linda, and beautiful photos. The partial rainbow looks very unusual, I have never seen it like that, and I also like the silhouette of the church. It all must have been impressive.
Hi Linda! Glorious sunsets and church silhouette. So glad to see you're back in the blogging world, and thank you for stopping by my site. Have a great week!
Thank you, Linda. Your enthusiasm is always appreciated.
Thanks, Tex.
Thanks kindly, Margaret.
Thanks, Steve. Glad you enjoyed them.
Thanks, Petra. I'd never seen anything quite like that "rainbow," either. The picture of the church against the sunset would have been better, I think, if we'd gotten there just a few minutes earlier.
Thanks, George. I appreciate your being there to share it with. :)
Thank you, Ruth. I know how you love photos of God's artwork in the sky.
It WAS a beauty, Hilary. And it did. :)
