One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple. (Psalm 27:4)
For the next few weeks the angle of the earth is nice for both sunrises and sunset. In this part of the world, it is rare to get much sun lately. I get up early everyday and enjoy watching the day brighten.
Steve - Thanks for the tip about the sunrises and sunsets in the coming weeks. I just may have to start getting up earlier. Our view to the east is better than our view to the west, so my chances of seeing the glory will be best in the morning.
Lori - I have a bad habit of staying up very late at night and sleeping in in the morning. I should try to find a better balance. Happy Monday back at you.
This is beautiful! But a SUNRISE???!!!! I'm sorry but that makes me suspicious. Did you have your camera set on a timer? Were you reallllllly up early enough to see this? If so, who are you and what have you done with the REAL Linda! ;)
Sandra - Oh the abuse I have to take for being a night person. Oh wait. I guess I dish it out to you for being a morning person, don't I? I'm glad we have a few hours in the middle of the day to be friends. :)

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I am not a morning person but I've been forced to be. :) Happy Monday!

Beautiful sky picture, Linda... WOW--that is incredible. Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Thanks for the kind words, Betsy.
ReplyDeleteWow ... that's a beauty of a sunrise. I like how the company name on the sign seems sort of appropriate with the scene unfolding behind it.
ReplyDeleteHilary - Here, I thought the "Beacon" sign was a distraction in the photo, and you see it as a commentary. :)
