I didn't capture much of the building itself in the photograph because I wanted to include some of the beautiful setting. Can you blame me?

HI Yes it is a pretty picture and would make a great postcard for the church.
ReplyDeleteI can't blame you, Linda, it's a wonderful capture and beautiful scenery. I like the red cross in the church window, it looks inventive. :)
ReplyDeleteI had a quick look at the older posts from your trip to Alaska and could see at least a glimpse of how wonderful it must have been. It was worth going that distance for sure.
Small churches always have a unique charm.I stop for the often.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful Church, and I like how you included the scenery in the photo. Very nice. My daughter lives in Alaska - she teaches school.
ReplyDeleteP.S. My (our) daughter lives near Fairbanks. My husband was up there for 30 years total - When we got married Mandy and I were there for the next 15 years as well. Don and I moved back to Montana in 2001 when my Mom passed away. Mandy and her family are still up there. It's home to her. She was 9 when we moved there. She has a Master's Degree and really loves her teaching job. She's expecting her second baby any day now. Zaeya is 2 and a real little scamp.
ReplyDeleteNeat little church... I always enjoy looking at your Alaska photos. One of these days, we will get there!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you have had a good week. I certainly have.
Hugs,
Betsy
