Green Side of the Grass
A friend shared this with me today, and I thought some of you might enjoy it, too. If you're over 50, or know someone who's over 50, you may see yourself...or a friend...in this song and video by Libby Allen:
Haha, loved it!! Double D and I have been doing the early bird menu for a few years now. And the sneeze thing...yep, know what that's all about, unfortunately. I guess I'll be grateful for being on the green side of the grass, lol!
I love the images in this, Linda, and the lyrics are hilarious, true, too! Very catchy tune. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh how cute---and unfortunately, so true.... I laughed at seeing the keys in the Fridge.... (Been there... ha)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy

ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! As my husband and I have always said for years: Any day is a good day when you wake up above the lawn!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda. There is so much truth in this, but at least I can smile about it.
ReplyDeleteWe age happily
ReplyDeleteLoved the video......and it is good to know we are not alone in our aging ....:)

ReplyDeleteOh Linda, this was precious! If I didn't relate personally, I know it through my Dad (he's 89!). Oh yes please...help my feeble mind!

Neat.... At first though I though the scene was from the Sound of Music...:)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this video! I can relate to so much of this. But as the lyrics go, at least I'm on the right side of the grass!! :)
