One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple. (Psalm 27:4)

Thursday Night Sky
Today was Doug's brother's sixty-second birthday. Doug and I drove to his town to visit him this evening and took him out for a steak dinner to celebrate the occasion.
On our way home, there was a beautiful sunset.
Followed by a lovely almost-full moon. (The calendar says the full moon is tomorrow night.)
The beauty of the night sky was a special treat, topping off our birthday celebration with Doug's brother.
Thanks, Deb. It's a relief to have a break from the humidity, isn't it? But it's coming back. I think we're supposed to have high temps and high humidity for the next week or so.
Fabulous pictures, Linda. I love BOTH of them. WOW!!!!

Beautiful. I wonder how many skies like that I've missed from lack of just looking up. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Steve. I can never resist trying to shoot the moon. :)
Oh, what a beautiful, beautiful sky! We've finally had two clear, non-muggy days, but I've not seen any evening skies to photograph. Great shots!!
