Time Out

I'm going to be computerless for the next few days and won't be able to update the blog during that time. I just wanted you faithful readers to know that I hadn't abandoned the blog and would return. I look forward to catching up with your blogs soon.

Meanwhile, here's a short video clip to brighten your day.

  1. Computerless.. it's like losing a limb! I hope you up and running again before too long. I was never a McHale's Navy fan but this video is hilarious. Thanks for sharing.

  4. I fought losing connection for a few weeks and it was like missing out on a part of life. Finally got it fixed. I take a laptop wherever I travel, i have checked posts in McDonalds, libraries and of course in motels.I am looking at smaller notebooks to tag along with.

  5. I sympathise with you with the loss of your computer for a few days. I'm having the same problem at the moment, but I'm lucky enough to have a very old, slow laptop, to get me out of trouble.

Great clip. Brightened up the start of my day :)

  6. To All: I'm sorry about the misunderstanding caused by my poor choice of words. My computer is just fine, but my husband was having surgery in another city. Our hotel didn't have wireless internet, and we were packing light anyway; so I didn't take my computer with me. But I probably should have come up with a better way to express my computerlessness. :)

Hilary - I'm glad you enjoyed the video clip. I really never watched that show myself, but I had seen this clip on a Bloopers episode several years ago and laughed myself silly over it.

Sandra - I wish! I'd love to have a lighter, more portable, but just-as-powerful laptop. And I wouldn't mind if it happened to be a Mac.

Betsy - I think bloggers around the world cringe at the thought of being without a computer. We got home today, and I hope to get a post up tomorrow.

Steve - I do love the portability of a laptop, but my 17" one is pretty bulky to lug around. I, too, would like to find a smaller one, but I want it to do everything this one does. Are they out there?

Keith - I know you've been having trouble with your computer. I hope your issues will be fully resolved soon. Glad you enjoyed the clip.
