Maybe we'll catch a little better lighting.Linda at To Behold The Beautyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07419060763634934217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9031302234429148594.post-34855171292394639032012-11-28T16:14:22.279-05:002012-11-28T16:14:22.279-05:00What a beautiful spot.. that bridge is just wonder...What a beautiful spot.. that bridge is just wonderful.Hilaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12787493532006658679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9031302234429148594.post-46136341903384609862012-11-26T20:32:08.624-05:002012-11-26T20:32:08.624-05:00Thank you, George. Thanks...Thank you, Stephen. You'rve very kind.

Thanks, Petra. I agree with you about the old houses. There are a few, in another section, that the Park Service is restoring for historical purposes, at least sufficiently enough to safely allow park visitors to go inside them.

Theresa - In late fall, like this, more sun can get through those bare trees to light up the few remaining ones.

Betsy - There were lots of Christmas lights up already when we were there. I know you'll enjoy them when you go.

Thank you, Ruth. We hiked that trail one year when there was a literal shower of autumn leaves falling on and around us. It was magical.

Thanks kindly, Gail. It's a beautiful place, so it doesn't take much of an "eye" to find something to photograph. :)Linda at To Behold The Beautyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07419060763634934217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9031302234429148594.post-42279902174996083382012-11-25T21:34:04.567-05:002012-11-25T21:34:04.567-05:00You have such a nice photographic eye for your sur...You have such a nice photographic eye for your surroundings. Doug's camcorder also does an amazing job with still shots. I may have said that before, but it's true! Y'all sure go to some beautiful places. When hubby and I are dog-less, we plan to do this type of traveling and I'm gonna come back to your blog for inspiration!Gail Dixonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15697820311332653232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9031302234429148594.post-24073096907763683602012-11-25T14:14:39.049-05:002012-11-25T14:14:39.049-05:00This sounds like a perfect way to spend a day. Glad it was a pretty day for you all. The pictures are GREAT. Makes me want to head back up there myself. We do hope to go up sometime this next month (before the tourists get there) and see the Christmas lights in and around Gatlinburg/area...

Hope you had a good Thanksgiving. In my opinion it would be better to tear them down but then, it would cost money, right, this way no one needs to care.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9031302234429148594.post-80244282050287037112012-11-25T01:05:50.864-05:002012-11-25T01:05:50.864-05:00Lovely, as are so many of your photographs.Lovely, as are so many of your photographs.stephen Hayeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17659054447637207734noreply@blogger.com
